This vintage Omega Seamaster dates to circa 1950 and represents the early generation of the Seamaster collection introduced in 1948.
The watch features a beautifully aged cream-toned dial with applied Arabic numerals and faceted hour markers, dauphine-style hands, and a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock. The dial is signed Omega, Automatic, and Seamaster.
Inside is the iconic Omega Calibre 342 bumper automatic movement, a 17-jewel automatic movement characteristic of many early Seamasters of this period.
The stainless-steel case measures approximately 34 mm excluding the crown and is paired with a brown leather strap with contrasting white stitching.
A wonderful example of early Omega design, offering a genuine mid-century aesthetic and the distinctive character of a vintage bumper movement.
